DEAD SPACE : When an immense mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes into contact with a mysterious alien artifact in a remote star system, its communications with Earth are mysteriously cut off. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimuras communications array, but he arrives to find a living nightmare—the ship is a floating bloodbath, the crew unspeakably mutilated and infected by an ancient alien scourge. Clarkes repair mission becomes one of survival as he fights not just to save himself, but to return the artifact to the planet at any cost.

Many people are asking about Hitler and how he could be an influence. He has had an impact on the entire world and changed how society deals with hate. Obviously he is not a influence in a positive way except for the positive changes that have occured to society since his existence.
People are also wondering how long it took. I spent 20 hours painting and I had the piece on me for about 30 hours. I slept with it on and it was aweful!

Zaha Hadid [ http://www.zaha-hadid.com/ ] has drawn walls that plough the space delineating fields of strength with fluid trajectories that cross the space, and there are the same intersection to define the circle among inside and outside. The structure has a complex and irregular form that corresponds to an inside articulation without clean division of plans and spaces: a composite environment characteristic from a high-level of functional flexibility in which the light plays a remarkable role in fact a coverage in glass floods of natural light all the spaces. We don’t find us of forehead to a journey to effect, but to an experience of trip in a complex net of connections and runs that through bridges and staircases they bring us “long” the three levels of the structure without ever returning on our footsteps and always discovering new roads. An architecture that opens a tear in the circuit of the time and they forces every of us to change our point of view, that is something that belongs much more to the cinema that to the architecture and the multiplicity of the visions, when everything is confuses and then everything returns clear, as in a film.

This video is made for any person who wants to learn oil painting. This video will give you a solid base of knowledge. http://merrillk.com
Today, I am going to show you how to paint a puppy dog. I made this video for beginner to intermediate level artists, who wish to learn about traditional painting…I will try to show you how to paint. step by step. While I can imagine that painting a realistic looking puppy is intimidating for someone new to art, I will try to make my instruction as clear as possible, so that you can get in to great habits for the future. Once you are in good habits, you will progress very quickly.
I split this lesson in to four parts.
1.) Part one will cover what you need to know before you paint.
2.) Part two will give you an effective strategy for painting realistically The mentality of rendering (aka drawing what you see)
3.) Part three will walk you through the process of painting and I will give you tips while I paint. The process of “sculpting” a painting
4.) Part four will actually be a separate video and it will discuss glazing…a great finishing strategy. Glazing: Finishing a painting (Covered in another video)
Part 1.) I have two points to go over in Part 1-
1-1- First, pick a surface to work on. When I was learning painting, I would use cardboard in place of canvas to save money. Ten years later my original oil paintings are still in good shape. However, this would not be the case if I didn’t prime the cardboard with layers of Gesso. Without getting over technical, gesso gives your surface a protective layer that will prevent the oil from being over absorbed. Try to remember this silly saying, “Paint with cream, not with butter or milk!” No, im not saying that you should break out the dairy prodicts…..I am referring to the consistency of the paint. Cream is not a solid like butter …..and is not watery like milk. When you apply paint to a surface it should be creamy in texture. You can make the paint creamy by adding about three to four drops of painting medium to the paint that is sitting on your palette. The object in my hand right now is called a palette knife. I used it to mix the paint with the painting medium. For a long time, I considered this step trivial, but it makes a difference!
1-2 Oil Painters use mineral spirits to clean off their brushes and to thin out a paint mixture. Mineral Spirits is also known commercially as paint thinner and sold as an art supply called turpenoid for quadruple the price. You will only need a SMALL amount of Mineral Spirits because its very powerful. Use it sparingly when you wish to thin out your paint; because too much will make the paint runny and “milk-like” in consistency. Here is a great tip to remember when cleaning your brushes…..WIPE-DIP-WIPE. As silly as that sounds, commit it to memory….In other words….. wipe your brush with a paper towel…..Then dip it in to the mineral spirits and swish it around….followed by another wipe with the paper towel to take the extra spirits off your brush. The last wipe is especially important to prevent the excess mineral spirits from thinning out your paint too much
Part 2
Now you will learn a great strategy to help you paint what you see. I call this strategy, “jigsaw puzzle observation” because it is similar to putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Jigsaw puzzles are fun because you fit shapes together to create an image………I want you to think the same way when you paint. Try to see and identify shapes and then put them together like a puzzle. Painters sculpt and manipulate the paint on the surface of a painting until the shapes fit together as a recognizable image. Here….let me show you what I mean…..When you try this, I recommend that you get in the habit of looking at your reference image at least once for every five seconds; and then paint what you observed. After you get the bigger shapes in…..work your way down to the smaller shapes…….. If you feel that you cant work the paint any more. Let it dry and repeat this step on top of the dried paint. You have an advantage by using paint because it is opaque and it can cover over any mistake…… Take your time with this step. Skyscrapers cant be erected without solid supports and good paintings cannot be made without careful placement.

This is Who’s the Master…
Close Up so you can see our faces!
From the whole team and our Coaches…
“Thank You, for all your support! We pray that our Human Video touches you like it touched each one of us on this Team, to God be ALL the Glory!”
From Evangel Temple Assembly of God, Jacksonville Florida!
I’ll explain so you can enjoy and understand this Human Video!
Its starts with God creating, then satan comes and takes his demons and they have a face-off on the thrones, then you see satan on a throne, then God on His!
Next you see the creation of Adam and Eve…then the devil takes over!
Then God brings His creation back to life…but there is a battle between satan, and God for our souls…In the end God wins- AS ALWAYS, and the devil is defeated!
Our Human Video asks one BIG, and very Important Question…
Who’s YOUR Master?
Thank you for all your Support!
*Second in the Nation*
Praise God!

After an inspiring residency working with Darren Almond and a very successful exhibition, artist Johnnie Lawson, presents his work.
This body of work, consists of a collection of paintings (In The Between) and two Still Videos (Notions of Silence 1 & 2). Within these I am searching for a meditative silence and a contemplative stillness. Paired down to a visual minimum this work has been partly inspired by writings such as The Tibetan Book of the Dead, originally put into words in the 8th century by Padma Sambhava, and The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav.
The point of reference for my paintings has been that time when day has ceased to be but has not yet become the black of night. Within the encroaching darkness there is the appearance of nothing and the supposition of everything. So it is with paint, all colours are held within black.

This art piece is by SACHIKO KODAMA and currenly on display at the Samuel Freeman Gallery at the Bergamot Station, in Santa Monica, CA. THIS VIDEO IS NOT TIME LAPSE. IT IS ALL FILMED AND PLAYED BACK IN REAL TME.
In 2000, Sachiko began work on a ferrofluid art project that she named “Protrude, Flow”.
Ferrofluid is a very interesting material originally developed by NASA it has now found itself been used for a whole range of devices including dampers for controlling and stabilizing large building that move around in the wind. Whats also amazing is that they have such lovely visual qualities when magnetized. The term liquid architecture is used a lot in interactive architecture based on the ideas of how architecture becomes animated by adding the 4th Dimension of Time. Sachiko has taken this idea of liquid architecture more literally with these stunning sculptures made from Ferrofluid which changes its state by the introduction of electro-magnetic waves into the fluid turning it solid. As you stand around and watch this piece, you get literally mesmerized as the ferrofluid (guided by magnets) follows its track and changes its forms.
Music is by Phillip Glass
