Arty Art Gallery LLP presents Myanmar’s Most Respective and Famous Impressionist U Lun Gywe, Solo Show named “The Fragrance of Myanmar Arts” at The Arts House. He who also known as Grand Master Painter worldwidely. More than 50 paintings displayed in this exhibition on 5th — 9th October, 2006.
In this exhibition, the Artist creates the scene of the taste which show the sentiment and sensation of the Myanmar people’s custom, culture, daily life works, Faith in Buddhism and staying in the happy life.
This exhibition was Singapore’s most successful Myanmar Artist Solo show.

In 1967, when the Museum of Modern Art in New York City presented New Documents — a major exhibition of the personal visions of several photographers — the surprise of the show was the work of Diane Arbus. On her own, against the advice of many friends, she had pursued her documentation of people on the fringes of society, and the astonishing in the commonplace. Suddenly she was famous, with students and imitators. By 1972 her work was everywhere, and was featured at the Venice Biennale, where it became, as New York Times critic Hilton Kramer said, the overwhelming sensation of the American Pavilion. But by then Diane Arbus was dead, by her own hand. “Nothing about her life, her photographs or her death was accidental or ordinary,” wrote Richard Avedon. “They were mysterious and decisive and unimaginable except to her. Which is the way it is with genius.”

This half-hour documentary was made that same year. It explores her work and ideas, often in her own words as spoken by a close friend. It includes reflections by some of the people who knew her best; daughter Doon, teacher Lisette Model, colleague Marvin Israel, and John Szarkowski, at that time the director of the photography department at the Museum of Modern Art.

The Lovers of Modern Art is the songwriting vehicle for ex-Daybridges guitarist Brian LHuillier.
Formed in the later half of 2008, these garage revivalists have written eleven tracks in the tradition of heartache and bein done wrong to bring you their debut long player Genuine Copy.
The Stooges meets The Sonics, Janis meets Jimi, The Rolling Stones meets The Lime Spiders. Its all captured on Genuine Copy and with that blues deep inside, LOMA take it out on their instruments

Big Bird! Elmo doesn’t understand Big Bird.
Why can’t Big Bird fly? Elmo thinks it’s extraordinary that Big Bird is a bird..but he doesn’t fly.
Elmo doesn’t know why Big Bird can’t fly.
I suppose one reason or explanation could be that the aerodynamics suggest that Big Birds lift would not be great enough………..fly.
Elmo knows other aminals that can fly.

They acknowledge their God with their with their lips, but live their everyday life like one big lie.
How can someone be two different kinds of people at once?
They claim to have something so Extraordinary, yet wouldn’t dare risking their own popularity by sharing it with someone like me.
They watch the same filthy movies as I do.
Use the same cuss words as me.
They even lead the same disgusting sinful life, which is no different from mine.
It’s like they have the cure for cancer, but simply choose not to share it.
I’ll tell you what, if they weren’t so hypocritical in their own lives, I would definitely be more interested in hearing about the redemption of this extraordinary God.
You want to know who I don’t understand?

William (Bill) Alexander was born in 1915 in East Prussia. As a youth he used his artistic talents to paint carriages and murals for local aristocrats. After the war, Bill and his family immigrated to North America to pursue their dream of building a home and to share Bills gift of painting.

Bill and his wife, Margaret, traveled throughout the United States and Canada teaching painting and making friends, often selling paintings to meet living expenses along the way. During this time Bill worked hard to develop his wet-on-wet technique and products. He developed the base medium Magic White, extra-thick oil paints, and special palette knives and brushes. These products work together to help artists, even a beginning artist, create beautiful scenes on the canvas.

By 1974, when he completed his first Emmy-winning Magic of Oil painting television show, Bills dream had become a reality. He had built himself a home in North America a home in the hearts of thousands who discovered with Bills help that they could have the almighty power to fire in and be happy painters too. Today, Bill continues to teach the world to paint through his television shows available on DVD.

More Sonic the comic original art.

This is from a strip called Bring me the Head of Coach Brikka. The strip was 6 parts long and 5 pages long in each chapter. It was based rougly on the Mutant League Football game for the Sega Megadrive.

The plot: Basically there is this Mutant League Football team thare are near unbeatable. One reason is that their coach has the best tactics that the world has ever seen, no other coach can compare.

A rival teams coach decides that he wants to win this years Mutant League Football Tournament. His plan is to hire a mad scientist to create a team of robots for him, however another part of his plan is to get the head of coach Brikka and wire it upto his robots, downloading his knowledge and tactics into their heads, making them the greatest football team the world has ever seen.

The evil coach gives coach Brikka a poisioned slice of pizza which results in his head flying off like a rocket. For almost 3 parts the plot is about coach Brikkas head being chases by his star player and the mad scientist.

The strip randomly cuts to adverts in the mutant world and at one point the strip cuts to the Mutant League Winter Olympics.

Eventually the head is captured by the evil coach and wired upto the robots.

The star player of Brikkas team makes a deal with the evil coach, winner takes all, Brikkas head, the championship and his daughters hand in marriage.

Brikkas team win the league and the head is returned to it’s original body. Brikkas Star player marries Brikkas daughter.

And if you thought that sounded bizzare… wait until you read it yourself.
