30 different people that influenced my life were painted one on top of another on my torso. I either painted a picture of the person or an object that represents the person.

Many people are asking about Hitler and how he could be an influence. He has had an impact on the entire world and changed how society deals with hate. Obviously he is not a influence in a positive way except for the positive changes that have occured to society since his existence.

People are also wondering how long it took. I spent 20 hours painting and I had the piece on me for about 30 hours. I slept with it on and it was aweful!

PARAMORE Hayley Williams Speed Art Painting – Stephen Quick

Paramore – Hayley Williams painting by Stephen Quick.

-Watch in high quality, option just under the hit counter -

Okay so another painting this time of the beautiful, stunning little rocker Hayley Williams from the Tennessee band Paramore………. the painting as always is by me Stephen Quick.

Hayley is painted in acrylic paint on canvas, it was quite a fast painting to do, properly only a couple of hours to paint the whole thing, once I got the hair correct the rest feel into place.

Shot on dv cam, edited in Adobe Premiere……….. Not time lapse but speeded up I think around 2500%

I WANT THIS PAINTING!!! I hear you cry hehehehe well visit this page, which has lots of photos of the Hayley painting:

Women In Art [The Original Artwork] [Part 1]

Monday, January 25th, 2010

As beautiful as eggman913′s original “Women In Art” is, I knew many people wanted more. I created this video, which is part informational and part creativity, to hopefully entertain and inform people.

A special thanks to all of the website owners who provided photos of the art, and the YouTuber; “boniyetta” and his associates for identifying the artwork and artists.

Also, thank you to the music geniuses of the past, whose work I used in this project. This is some of the most beautiful and subtle music ever created.

Beethoven: “Moonlight Sonata”
Bach: “Air On The G String”
Debussy: “Clair de Lune”
Dvorak: “The New World”
[from Symphony #9]

Since my my videos are all longer that 10 minutes, YouTube makes me split them. I don’t like doing that but I do plan to upload them to google video which I hear does not have that limitation.

30 SECONDS TO MARS #2 – Speed Art Painting – Stephen Quick

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

- 30 Seconds To Mars Painting Stephen Quick-
Hello all!!!
As you can see I have made a bit more effort on this painting video of Jared Leto from 30 Seconds to Mars (30STM), I hope you approve!

The painting is on canvas, painted in acrylic and took me about 3/4 hours not totally sure, yes it was drawn first on the canvas before painted, im not that good!! But I haven’t filmed the drawing bit maybe in the future I will.

Okay as for more effort in the video, most of my time lapse painting films are just that a time lapse shot on a creative web cam, this one has been speeded up 3000% or something like that, filmed on a mini DV cam direct to the hard drive and edited on premiere.

Of course the song is by 30 Seconds To Mars “Beautiful Lie” from the album of the same name.

The painting is by me Stephen Quick, I do not have a song or an album but I do have lots of paintings and a lovely web site that you can visit to see all these lovely things:

http://www.splinteredstudios.com

To see more photos of this painting visit this link:

http://www.splinteredstudios.com/30STM2.htm

Hope you enjoy and please please please subscribe (is that desperate and sad???? maybe), for the people who already subscribed a massive thank you.

- Oh i have just watched the video up on youtube and looks like while encoding it the timing on a transition has gone out, as the music kicks in a the start that is when Jared is ment to appear!! little detail hehehe

PPS – yup ive seen the spelling (typo) as well!!
