ORIGINAL Elephant Painting
Watch this elephant paint a beautiful image of an elephant holding a flower. You’ll be amazed at how her talent unfolds as she carefully completes each stroke. Her mahout talks to her throughout the process as his gentle touch gives her confidence. She focuses on her work and seems to enjoy the approval of the audience and, of course, the sugar cane and banana treats. All of her training has been reward based.
So touched by their horrific backgrounds and loving personalities, ExoticWorldGifts.com now supports, “Starving Elephant Artisans” by selling their paintings so they can continue to have a new life in Thailand. Own a print of the art for $35.
Some Thai elephant experts believe that the survival of the Asian elephant species will most likely depend on the good treatment of the elephants in well managed privately owned elephant camps. All of us would prefer that all of the elephants be free to be in the wild. For many reasons, that is not possible at this time.

I was gonna say! 8- …
I was gonna say! 8-D Yeah, it’s still pretty cool. I have seen (online) where they do actually paint whatever they want and even though the finished product may not be something recognizable to us it still makes ya wonder if they truly are trying to represent something they’ve seen or experienced or if they’re just “scribbling”. Thanks for the response! 8-}

@kumuphu
No. They …
@kumuphu
No. They are taught what to draw ahead of time. It would be a much greater phenomenon if the elephants were conjuring up these images by themselves. It is still very amazing, though, the precision of this particular elephant.

The funny thing …
The funny thing about it is that all animals probably have a natural art with nature that no one gives them credit for. The trees they eat. The paths they make the patterns on their fur. The problem with carnivores is there art sometimes is the meal they eat. And how they eat it. Herbivores might be a tree in the right place. Or a grouping of bushes. Birds might do it with seeds. I know snakes bring out the color in a yard or garden. The colorful ones do anyway. Do animals coordinate?

This is sick!
…
This is sick!
Don’t get me wrong, but a cat playing piano, dolphins with their own language, talking gorillas, octopus opening a tan and know elephants who can paint?
Just seeing this, I can’t stop thinking how much murdering the human being have made against the animals. This is clear that they are like us humans.
Humans can do art, well, so can elephants!
