    abstract is when you take an object and relay it in a new way like Braque- your paintings are non objective.

    To get the water …
    To get the water streaks, I put some paint that was thinned with water on the canvas and then sprayed it with a spray-bottle I filled with water. I use both Liquitex and Golden brand paint.

    Once again i love your work. But how did you get the effect of the water streaks? Did you just get your brush wet and run it across the top of the canvas? also what brand of acrylic paints are you using?

    I like how you work on the whole painting the entire time, instead of working on one little part forever!! – One of my art teachers always drilled that into my head haha

    I also like the drip technique – Makes it look, well – more natural!
    Nice painting – 5 stars! – right now I’m doing art vids daily to document my art school journey, should be fun! Make some more vids!

    Quite clever of her …
    Quite clever of her not to display the amount of whites and blacks used for Cyclez’s first layer of blue shades, I like her water spray feature along the way but I’m not really happy with the finish, the water feature is not really given prominence. Then again, it’s up to the artist so I respect that. As for me, I’d prefer the finish to be at 4:13 of this video display. Not bad, 7 out of 10 stars.

    I love the colors in this painting. Fabulous work! This is going to sound silly, but I can’t believe you can paint abstracts in such a small space without making a ridiculous mess. You should see MY room when I paint. ;)
