I know for a fact that you have more than one account but I don’t, and seeing as your first thought ran to giving yourself thumbs up then I assume this is something you do regularly. If I may interject: it’s true that most Americans are xenophobes and, therefor, have no capacity to understand the humour of other lands. There’s no arguing that. That said there’s also a sizable minority of them who are fans of Monty Python, the Goon Show, et cetera. In the last analysis, humour is quite cultural and personal.
