Review for the Asus EEE 1215N Notebook

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

ASUS is the company that started this entire netbook fad where the thought is to have smaller laptops under 12 inches that are fitted with basic specs but nonetheless capable of doing basic tasks such as surfing the web, sending and receiving emails, as well as working office software. They cost a smaller amount in comparison with other midrange laptop computers sized A COUPLE OF inches larger, are lightweght and have above average battery life as a result of being more basic. However, these notebook computers in many cases are slow in overall performance limiting the use of multitasking especially if they are running on Windows 7. Faster hardware was utilized in the Asus 1201N however the result was that the life of the battery was reduced. At present its successor which is the Asus EEE PC 1215N notebook hopes to make a difference by combining value, portability, as well as overall performance. It’s a great machine for moms to look up bow making instructions online.

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

i cant understand the difference between them, if any. can someone help me pls??

Neo impressionism seem to pretty much be defined by pointillism, the dotty stuff. While post-impressionism is more general and includes pretty much everything else. Also, I think if you want to get technical neo impressionism is part of post impressionism.

Impressionism/Post-Impressionism: (l)Overture

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

Impressionism was a 19th-century art movement that began as a loose association of Paris-based artists whose independent exhibitions brought them to prominence in the 1870s and 1880s. Post-Impressionists extended Impressionism while rejecting its limitations: they continued using vivid colours, thick application of paint, distinctive brushstrokes and real-life subject matter, but they were more inclined to emphasize geometric forms, to distort form for expressive effect, and to use unnatural or arbitrary colour. This video is part of the “Palette” project and pays homage to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. Video by Mark Garvey, song “(l)Overture” by Bill Hooper. Please visit www.MarkGarvey.co.uk for more details.

About: The Impressionists

A guide to the art movement known as impressionism in the 1800′s

Impressionism, French Impressionnisme, a major movement, first in painting and later in music, that developed chiefly in France during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Impressionist painting comprises the work produced between about 1867 and 1886 by a group of artists who shared a set of related approaches and techniques. The most conspicuous characteristic of Impressionism was an attempt to accurately and objectively record visual reality in terms of transient effects of light and colour. The principal Impressionist painters were Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Berthe Morisot, Armand Guillaumin, and Frédéric Bazille, who worked together, influenced each other, and exhibited together independently. Edgar Degas and Paul Cézanne also painted in an Impressionist style for a time in the early 1870s. The established painter Édouard Manet, whose work in the 1860s greatly influenced Monet and others of the group, himself adopted the Impressionist approach about 1873.
