I got the original concept art from the first Star Wars movie. This stuff is old school. Its not in mint condition or anything but i figure its got to be worth something
You probably have a reproduction, or the prints from the "Portfolio" published by Ballantine. The original artwork is in the Lucasfilm archives.
The prints are worth $1-2 each if they are in MINT condition. So yours are worth just about the same as the lining for your canary cage.

I’ve looked on Ebay and Google and can’t seem to find a website where I can buy his authentic, original art. Everything is just a reproduction.
Does anyone know of a place to buy the real thing?
Hi! Your best bet is public auction. You should
contact some of the auction houses that are linked
below (or at least start to track sales) and let them
know of your interest. They know well in advance
when a collection will come on the market or if an
institution is divesting holdings. They will be more
than happy to keep you apprised
I hope that this helps .. and good luck!

I need to know how they’re different. Any additional sites where I could find other information would be appreciated. Don’t just go to wikipedia and put in Impressionism and Fauves. I already tried.
a key detail in there is different. I don’t want just some sites about them. I’m trying to find differences.

I live in Essex and would like to purchase original pieces of art. I don’t like modern/abstract and would very much like to be a patron for local artist. Any good ideas of where to buy these works in the surrounding area would be great – also, I’m not a millionaire so I’m looking for reasonable prices, say under £500. Thanks.

What kind of art paintings would a classy sophisticated man have hanging in in his house? something that shows this individual fancys a elegant lifestyle. i know this is a weird question. I’m not really into art or anything.
Here’s a few simple rules for a classy sophisticated look;
Pictures should match the room decor.
Abstract art rather than landscape or figurative.
Oil (or acrylic) on canvas, no watercolours.
The bigger the better, don’t buy small pieces.
Don’t hang too many, 4 or 5 on each wall at most.
Hand painted and not reproduction prints.
Don’t ask people what they think of your collection, if they have no taste or understanding they are not going to be complimentary.
Artistic Interiors Inc (oil paintings) would be a great place for you to find appropriate work..

I need to create a work of art with oil pastels using Monet’s impressionism style, but I don’t know how. How do you create art like an impressionist? What am I suppose to draw? Does what you draw matter? How do I draw it?
These paintings usually consisted of visible brush strokes using bright use of light and varied colors. Black was rarely used. Works many times emphasized lighting and its qualities, every day subject matter that was viewed from unusual angles.

I’m moving to Italy next year and need to learn to speak better Italian and would also be interested in taking some modern art courses too. I prefer the Florence area. Thank you.
see, the point is that , unless you are searching for private courses, italian schools have different specializations and it’s hard to find one that contains both good languages and modern art classes. i would suggest you concentrate your search to modern art, and then take some private lesson regarding italian.
One of the best art school is surely accademia di brera, in milan (lombardy, up north). a bit far from florence, but it is the best suggestion i can give
